CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle form of bodywork, often involving no more than five grams of pressure.
It is a type of therapy that integrates well with acupuncture and the principles of Chinese Medicine, although the theory and creation of CranioSacral Therapy was developed from Western medical philosophy.
CranioSacral Therapy works to balance the central nervous system of the body by releasing restrictions residing within the craniosacral system.
This therapy is an excellent health promoter because of its ability to restore the body to its optimal functioning capacity, and in turn, allows the body to fully access its innate ability to heal itself.
By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:
- Migraine Headaches
- Chronic Neck and Back Pain
- Motor-Coordination Impairments
